Top 5 TV shows

Hey guys, how is everyone going? I hope you are all well. How have you guys been loving E3? I quite enjoyed watching all the conferences and demos/gameplay. I just wish a) I could have been there and b) that more big games were announced. What happened to the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2?! I enjoyed the first one and have been hoping for a new one cause it has been like 4 years or something! But sadly no news this year so maybe next year? Also Hideo Kojima's new game, Death Stranding seems interesting. No idea what the heck it's about but it has Norman Reedus starring which is awesome and it seems to have a Sci-fi vibe going on. He did say it would be an action game so I am interested to see how this game turns out although I have a feeling it won't be released for a while.

So I thought I would share with you guys my top 5 TV shows that I am currently loving at the moment. I love watching TV and in recent years TV has seriously upped its game. There are so many awesome shows to watch at the moment. It is hard to keep up sometimes xD.

The first show I've been loving which has just recently ended its first season is Colony. It's a sci-fi/drama type show set in LA which has somehow become occupied by some alien race. There is a massive wall blocking off LA from other areas and these weird flying drones that hunt and kill people if they do bad things like break curfew. The sci-fi element isn't thrown in your face and actually seems to be an afterthought. It seems to be more intrigue/thriller/drama than sci-fi. It is so weirdly addictive (I saved episodes up so I could binge watch because I wanted to know what was going to happen!). You're always left wondering when your going to find out who the heck these aliens are and what they want. Which we still have no answer for! However there was a little tease on the last episode. I am looking forward to season 2! And hopefully there will be more alien stuffs xD.

The second show is by far my favourite at the moment. It is 12 Monkeys and it is just soooooo freaking good! (again a show I binge watch because I need to know what's happening!). I loved the first season and am loving the second season! Again its a sci-fi show (are you sensing a theme? I love Sci-fi shows!) and is based off of the Bruce Willis movie of the same name. It involves a lot of time travel and messing with time and trying to save the world from destruction. The relationships in this show are so dynamic and interesting and ever evolving. A lot of love, hate going on. And Jennifer Goines is by far the most awesome character. Her crazy is just so much fun.

The third show which is not a sci-fi show (xP) is Vikings. And this show is just so much awesome. It has everything in it that you would want from a show titled Vikings. It is kind of Game of Thrones-esque and is brutal and bloody and weirdly has a bit of heart going on. The show has a lot of elements going for it and Floki is one of the characters that interests me the most. The actor that portrays him does such a good job at mixing crazy with something else. Floki is a hard character to describe lol. You always kind of wonder what Floki is up to or what he is thinking. And if he's been smoking a little something something on the side xP.

The fourth show is Banshee. This show is unfortunately now over after four seasons but damn was it a hell of a ride. The story is about a guy who assumes the identity of a small town sheriff and imposes his own rules of justice. But its more complicated than that as he was a jewel thief with his then girlfriend whom he went to prison for. And then he finds her in this small town and loads of sh*t goes down! It has a lot of action and violence and sex and it's kind of a strange show that has some good drama going on. Job is one of my favourite characters and I am going to miss him and the stuff he comes out with.

My fifth show has got to be Orphan Black (another sci-fi show xD). If you don't know this is a show about clones. But more than just that. The series starts off with Sarah Manning watching someone who looks like her die and then assuming her identity. And then finding out that this assumed identity (Beth I think it was) boyfriend is actually monitoring her. And then she finds out she's a clone and that there are more clones out in the world. And then she goes to meet said clones and the story unfolds. I love how Tatiana Maslany can play all of these characters and be so different in each one. For me she has got to be the best actresses on TV at the moment! Helena (who I love/hate!) is so damaged but so badass and sometimes really funny. And Alison too is funny in how she tries to be so prim and proper. And I have just seen that Orphan Black will be ending with season 5. Sad times!

Most of these shows are UK paced so I'm sure some of you already know what's happening. There are  still so many other shows to watch (if only there were enough hours in the day!). I still have to catch up on Daredevil S2 (side note how awesome was Jessica Jones?) and my guilty pleasure of Devious Maids! What are some of the shows you guys are loving at the moment?
