Rimmel Eyeliners

Hey guys, how's it going? Summer is meant to be here buuuuuuut I don't think the weather knows that just yet :/. This weather is insane!! I hope everyone has had an alright week and not gotten too wet xP.

I have heard a lot of things about nude eyeliner. About how it makes your eyes look brighter and make you seem more awake and gotten sleep that you did not get. Which on some days I feel I need because we all have those days where we just look tired. On a recent trip to Boots, this was the only available nude liner I could pick up. I literally could not find any other ones.

I ended up with the Rimmel Nude Kajal eyeliner. It swatches nicely, texture is smooth and almost cream like and it seemed like it would wear well. However upon using this a few times (in the hopes it would work) I do not like it. This is not long lasting in the least and lasts on me about an hour if that. It goes on smoothly except when you are at the corners of the eyes where for whatever reason this gets stuck in your lashes. Which is so frustrating because to try and get it off your lashes it ends up ruining the rest of your eye makeup.

(excuse the old lady hands xD)

The rub is that this is meant to be waterproof but for me does not last in the slightest. I have a different eyeliner by Rimmel, the exaggerate automatic waterproof eye definer and this is awesome. The colour lasts well and does not get stuck in my lashes. And this blue sparkly one (aqua sparkle), I just LOOOOVE! Used just by itself, either on the top of your eyes or on the bottom of your eyes, this gives beautiful results. It is something a little different, a little daring and makes your eyes pop.

Rimmel always seem a bit hit and miss, at least for me and this nude eyeliner was definitely a miss. Let me know if this eyeliner worked for you and  if it did, how?! xP

Till next time xx
