Jaaaaaaaaapaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan XD

My love affair with Japan began long ago. It is a place that has always inspired and fascinated me. After watching films such as Memoirs of a Geisha and countless animes such as Naruto, Death Note and Bleach to name a few, it became a desire to someday travel to this beautiful, spiritual land.

And now…. Eeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I can't believe I'm typing these words but I am off to JAPAN in less than a week!!!!!!!!!! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am for this trip!!!!!! LIKE SUPER EXCITED!!!! XD (if the exclamations are enough evidence of my excitement).

It’s something that I have been dreaming about for at least the last ten years. And now I can finally fulfil that dream. Unfortunately this trip is limited to Tokyo and its surrounding areas but I hope to someday go back and visit the rest of the country. Especially Okinawa because dayum, it looks amazing and wonderful and awe inspiring. It is definitely on my bucket list.

So I wanted to ask if anyone has any tips about Tokyo or any hidden gems to visit or restaurants they could recommend? I have a guide book with lots of places but I think that sometimes people stumble upon and find the little hidden gems that usually surpass what’s in the book. So if you do, please leave a comment, I would be hugely appreciative! =D

I am going to try and blog my trip just so that if anyone happens across this and needs some advice or wants to know what’s on offer in Tokyo they can have a look see. A lot of shopping is probably going to happen, that is one thing I already know XD. And also I'm going to die in the humidity because it’s like 80% humidity at the moment and roughly 35 degrees. But I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!! Like I’m literally counting down the days XD.
