Wing Yip

Wing Yip. Need I say more? For any of you who haven't visited this wonder store of asian food well, you are missing out. This is the place to go for anything asian you might want and even things you don't want and have never seen before but are curious to try. Basically this place is just awesome. If you're a bit of a foodie like me and enjoy wandering the aisles AND are curious...this is a good place to go. So much yummy food and drinks to pick up!

As you know when you're shopping (even food shopping!) you get hungry and lucky for me there was a restaurant right next door. And the bakery!!! I'm not sure if i've mentioned it before but I love, love, LOVE desserts. And the desserts they have on offer here are just mmmmmmmm! Just looking at this photo makes me want more of these cakes XD.

Now of course all of this isn't just for me but ooooooooooooooh my! The food is amazing. Like some of the best chinese food i've ever had. It doesn't taste like normal chinese take out which I like. And the portions!!!! You can literally feed like three people with one of these tubs. Good for me because I can have some leftovers XD. And I have to mention the prawn toast just because well, I am not a fan of prawns. Like at all. The texture, the fishy smell and fishy taste (blurgh). I think they are generally just gross. But these toasts, dayum! They are some fine prawns. Not fishy at all and crispy and just yum. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

If you can, go and have a little wander around the aisles. There will always be something to find.
