Daredevil

I hope everybody is well! So I've just finished watching daredevil like five minutes ago. And I really, really wanted to love this and be like hell yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas! But…I’ve kind of been left feeling a bit hmm and meh about it all. 

Watching the first episode felt like I had been thrust into a season two not knowing what the heck was going on. And every episode seemed to be the same.

There were good things though. I definitely enjoyed the dark tone and the action which at times could be a bit violent, something daredevil definitely needed. Because that film with Ben Affleck…although in my opinion it was not bad (I kind of enjoyed it!) was by no means great and the action kind of sucked.

Also the characters…I just ... *sigh* I didn’t know why they were all doing the shiz they were doing! It was like ok Mr. Murdock why are you so damn hell bent on trying to save your city? Or whatever it is he’s trying to do. We meet him and he's already a vigliante roaming around in that silly black suit. I wanted to know why he was doing it. (Perhaps I need to read the comics again because it has been years!)

And omg the amount of times he says "This is my city" kind of reminded me of Arrow. I was like you guys have a lot in common here... and also, guys…you know it isn’t just your city, like other people live there too lol.

Overall I’m not really sure about daredevil but it was entertaining and something to fill time with. I will probably be checking out season two because SPOILER to anyone who hasn’t heard…

Elektra and the Punisher are coming and those are two characters I kind of think are badass. And i'm hoping that means the Hand will make a proper appearance because again, badassery!
