Another day (filled with foooooood!) XD

On a sunny afternoon in good ol' Landan Town, I decided it was time for some lovely afternoon tea (after all I am kind of English XD). I also think that having tea is always good. I feel it makes everything better. Add in sandwiches, scones and cake and tea is made even better!

The afternoon tea I visited was at a place called Burlington House right in the centre of London. I think its like an exhibition place and this was outside in the courtyard (so cool huh?).

So we had the entire room to ourselves which was really nice. On arrival we had a cocktail and I have to say mine was the best out of the other ones there were on offer (tiny but packed a punch! XD).

The interior of the room was filled with quite a few of these chiselled portraits (this one being the only non creepy one XD).

So afternoon tea isn’t something that I have done a lot of but I enjoy it immensely. And that’s probably due to the small sizes of everything because well, I think it’s just so cute. And the cakes (my favourite bits) are just scrumptious. It's surprising that everything is so small and how very easy it is to get full up on. And the teapots were just so cute and different.

And then later came dinner time. Awwwwwww yeah! BEST KOREAN BBQ EVAH! XD I love this place and I love, LOVE the food. I know I say this a lot about a lot of food but Korean bbq is by far my favourite cuisine. It is so, so delicious and yummy and just food heaven. Seriously! And what makes it even better is that you get to cook it yourself without having someone awkwardly hovering around you.

And the soju…Ha! I remember the first time I had this Korean liqueur and it blew my socks off. It tasted like vodka but somehow sweeter and I was like blurgh. But the more you drink it the better it becomes (or at least you get used to it :P) and now I drink it every time I have Korean bbq. There was a lot of meat happening here, like a lot! I couldn't actually get a picture of it all. But needless to say a lot of food was eaten and enjoyed.

xx
