Tokyo Day 5 2016 Edit
Hey guys, I hope you're well! So today is Harajuku and of course Pokemon Hunting! We arrived at Harajuku and took some time to savour the station and all of its uniqueness as it is going to be refurbished in the next few years. Unfortunately it's going to look all modern like every other station. Which is a shame because this station has been here for like 90 years or something. RIP Harajuku Station!
We arrived already hungry and due to it being a weekend and crazy manic (like sooooo many peoples!!!!) we decided to head to Bills for a little late breakfast/early lunch. It was the only place that did not have a crazy ass line. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my meal as I did not expect Bills to be so...mmm healthy tasting lol.
After that we headed into Meiji Jingu and there was the Harajuku Omotesando Genki Matsuri Super
Yosakoi 2016. It's basically a summer festival where teams of dancers perform. We saw this last year and it was just as good this year. I love the energy that this festival brings to a usually quiet area. It was full of people, food and loud music. And the costumes/outfits were beautiful. Definitely check it out if your in Tokyo during late August/early September.
It was really on and off rainy today so we decided to skip the shrine and come on a different day. So instead we headed into Yoyogi Park for some Pokemon hunting. It's quite a nice park with so many things happening on the weekends. If you've ever watched some youtube videos about Yoyogi Park then you'll know that people like to come here and hang out and go a little wild and let off some steam. They have groups of guys in 50's gear dancing and random people rapping. And also loads of people catching Pokemon xP.

And that was pretty much it for day 5. We went for dinner but I don't know the name of the place in English but there is a photo down below of the outside. It was sooooooo good! And it had English outside so we didn't have to guess or google translate what we wanted. It was somewhere in Ikebukuro, roughly 5 minutes away from the station. I love stumbling onto places like this.
Till next time xx
