Tokyo Day 4 2016 Edit
Hey guys,
So it's day 4 and jet lag is still kind of blah! But we're up at a decent time and headed out to Ginza. Ginza is quite an upmarket area with a lot of designer shops. And on weekends I think until the end of September and between 12:00pm - 17:00 pm Ginza becomes a pedestrian zone. I've been to Ginza but we've never been on a weekend so we thought we'd check it out. And it was so cool! Just walking in the middle of the road (or you know, taking a chill seat!) was awesome and definitely an experience to try out.
Also Uniqlo is here, the flagship and also largest store. And I love Uniqlo so shopping here is a must. Uniqlo here has 13 floors and is full of so many clothes. And the top floor is full of cool printed t-shirts with different characters on it. It's really cool and also the views from the top are cool also. Its definitely worth a quick check out.
After shopping we headed for some lunch and headed back to a small curry place in the back streets of Ginza. Its called Grill Swiss and I know that this does not look appetizing but oh my god, this is seriously tasty curry! You can get different varieties and it is quite inexpensive so if you can find it, definitely check it out. It is quire a small restaurant but they have an english menu so you don't have to spend your time google translating.
It started to rain so we decided to head into Tokyo Station to find Character Street and have a little wander and window shop. This is a street of different Character shops such as Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty etc. Also there is a Pokemon Center here so we had to check it out! xD.
There is so much to look at underneath train stations especially food wise (so if you're a foodie like me then this is like a dream!). They are always cool to wander around and you can always find something you want to eat. And they have a lot of Omiyage (souvenirs) mostly of the food variety but you can find other trinkets down here. I don't advise heading into main stations such as Shinjuku or Tokyo on the weekends unless you love crowds. Cause oh my god, there are soooooooo many people!! Like gah!
