Tokyo Day 13/14

Hey guys, it is the last two days of our trip! I cannot believe it is almost coming to an end. It is always sad to go back home after being on holiday especially in Japan where everything is so convenient and awesome and beautiful.

So we spent our last few days souvenir shopping and re visiting a few places as well as heading to some new places. Of course we had to head to Harajuku for some souvenir shopping and to enjoy the amazing crepes that they have on Takeshita dori of which I looooooove! You can never eat enough crepes xD. Also if your looking for souvenirs, Daiso and Don Quijote are really good places to pick gifts up as they are quite inexpensive.

The next day, our final full day :( we headed into Shin Okubo, the Korea Town of Tokyo. Here you can pretty much buy all things Korean from food to makeup to skincare to K-Pop stuff. And the amount of Korean restaurants they have here is definitely worth going to. Sooo delicious!!

Unfortunately I could not find all the products I wanted but I managed to get a lot of face masks! xD.
After Shin Okubo we headed to the Tokyo Government Metropolitan Building where they have two observatory towers, the north and south tower that you can visit for free. It is always nice to have spectacular views over Tokyo and just absorb the vastness of the city.

After a long day of hunting for souvenirs we ended our final night in Tokyo with dinner at a bbq place in Ikebukuro that does Wagyu beef, specifically Miyazaki beef. The restaurant was quite small and private and luckily there was an English speaking waitress.

There are different ways to experience Wagyu and if you can definitely try and experience them all. We were allowed to cook the meat ourselves which can be a bit daunting if you have not done it before but it really is easy. And with Wagyu you only want to cook it for a few seconds. This was literally the most delicious thing I've eaten. The meat was so soft and buttery and just melted on your tongue. Most of the beef they sell here is Wagyu however there are different grades. If you do get Wagyu definitely go for the A-5 even though all Wagyu is amazing. It is pricey but if your a meat lover it is definitely worth the price.

This was the perfect end to our Tokyo trip. I love Japan and Tokyo and hope to come back and experience more of the country. There is just something so magical and awesome about Japan which is why I keep going back.

Till next time xx
