Tokyo Day 11
Hey guys, so today is a bit of a mish mash kind of day as we kind of went around Tokyo. It was such a beautiful day and the first place we headed to was back to Senso-ji. We came when it was open this time xD as we wanted to visit the actual shrine, do some fortunes and pay our respects.

After Senso-ji and getting some more age-mangu (seriously the best things ever!!) we headed to another shrine, Hie-Jinja. This has 100 torii gates, similar to the 10,000 torii gates in Kyoto. So if you do not get a chance to go to Kyoto, you can come here.
It's a nice little spot, the temple/shrine (I'm not sure which it is!) is beautiful albeit small. And the Torii gates are pretty cool to come and check out and kind of eerie, especially when there is no one around! But beware as mosquitos will be waiting to bite you to shreds.
After Hie-jinja we headed to Akiba to do some anime figure/toys hunting. There is so much to look at around here that you can literally spend hours just looking at all the shops and toys Akiba has to offer. If anime or manga is your things and you want some figurines or plush's this is definitely a place to check out.
After a long day we winded down with some Shabu Shabu in Shibuya in a place called Nabezo. Shabushabu is basically a hot pot, you choose what broths you would like and then cook away. It is all you can eat for a certain amount of time which you choose e.g. 90 mins, 120 mins and 200mins. And it is sooo good! A little more expensive than other dinners you can get but so worth it! So make sure you come with your bellies empty.
Till next time xx
