Tokyo Day 12

Hey guys, how is it going? Hope everything is well! Our Tokyo trip is almost at an end (so sad!). So today we are off to Yokohama to of course check out the Pokemon Center but to also just see Yokohama as it makes a nice change to the hustle and bustle that is Tokyo.

Immediately arriving here the vibe is completely different. It seems more calm and you get the wonderful breeze off the water. So we headed to the Pokemon Center located inside Landmark Plaza (you have to get off at Minato Mirai!). It is quite a big Pokemon Center and here they offer slightly different products than in Tokyo. It is also a lot less busy. We went a little crazy again on the Pokemon but you know...crazy Pokemon people here xD.

After the Pokemon Center we ventured outside and it was a scorching day. There is so much to see in Yokohama (definitely head to Chinatown if you can!). It was slightly surreal wandering around as Yokohama did not quite feel like Japan anymore but rather like a beach resort in Hawaii or something. I think it was because of the oddly shaped buildings, the boats, the golf course cut grass.

We wanted to go to the pier but it was a very long walk away and it was just too hot so we headed to somewhere nearby, the Yokohama red brick warehouse which has lots of shops and food inside and has a view of Yokohama Bridge. Which is pretty cool.

After Yokohama we ventured back into Tokyo to Odaiba where we spent the rest of our evening at the Onsen. Because Onsen are literally the best things ever! xD. It is so nice after such a long hot day to go to the Onsen and take a nice soak and just relax.

Till next time xx
