Haulin'
Hey guys, how is everyone doing? Its been sooooo cold recently and it sucks! I so cannot wait for spring/summer. Which technically it should be soon...this recent sunshine is making me hopeful even though it is so deceptive!
I have been on the hunt recently for some new clothes and this post will be about some of the things I've bought recently. The first items are from Zara. Zara is a shop that I sporadically go into and I'm unsure as to why because they have nice clothes. I think it's because it is always so busy and I just cannot be asked to wait to try on anything. Anyway...the first item is this red/orange blouse. It is quite basic but I like that it has small round gold buttons as I feel it dresses the blouse up a little bit. It also has a really nice feel to it, not especially thick but not too thin. The only gripe is that this creases so easily! This can be worn untucked or tucked in, depending on what mood you're feeling.
The other item are the black jeans I'm wearing in most of the photos. Black jeans are a staple in any wardrobe and it is annoying when they start to fade so it's a constant purchase that has to be made. I love the biker style and I've always been into it so these were something I had to have. They are super stretchy and have some zip detailing at the top and also on the ankles which I think add something a little different. Great to pair with flats or a nice pair of heels and works very well with the red blouse! XD.
Next are a few tops from Asos. These ones are nothing special but tops that I like to have around. First are these high neck vest tops in both black and white. I find these tops so versatile, especially for summer. The material is quite soft and they have a sheen to it which make these seem like they would keep you cool in the heat. I've paired these with some denim shorts that I purchased from H&M but you could pair these with high waisted trousers or jeans.
The other top from Asos is this grey ribbed vest top which I love the cut of. I love sleeveless tops and this one can easily be dressed up with a nice pair of suit trousers or casually with a pair of shorts or jeans. I cannot wait for summer to rock all of these and not hide it all under layers.
Now I know the weather is turning a little bit but I am kind of in love with these lounge pants from Marks & Spencer. And I love them because they are fleece and so soft and comfortable. They do lose that initial omg softness once you wash them a couple of times but they are still remain very soft. I wanted these because of the pattern as the other ones I own are christmassy and we are way past that.
I also picked up this new jumper from Marks & Spencer. I love the whole ribbed design that is in at the moment and I've been on the hunt for more jumpers. This is very form fitting and has a bit of a high neck but the colour is gorgeous. This is not a jumper you can just wear on its own though as the fabric is quite thin. But if you pair it with some thermals or my personal favourite Uniqlo's heat tech then you're all set.
Also I got something a little random to some of you if you do not like Pokemon. And these are all special items released for the 20th anniversary. The first is Celebi from Toys R Us, then Pikachu also from Toys R Us and finally Mew from GAME.
They are made from a crushed velvet material and are limited edition. I am unsure if they are still available but if you can get your hands on them they are collectibles worth having. I could go on about how cool they are buuuuut I won't XP. So that's it for this haul. What are some of the items you guys have been enjoying and or getting spendy on?
