Afternoon Tea
Hey guys, how's it going? I hope everyone is enjoying the summer sun! And having a good week and that the clouds disappear over this coming weekend because we need sunshine! So I went for Afternoon Tea recently and I wanted to share it with you guys. I love afternoon tea, dainty little sandwiches and cakes and it is amazing how it always manages to fill you up! Like who would think tiny little sandwiches would be so filling?
I went to the Royal Park Garden Hotel and it was a fairly nice and quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, with Kensington Park right next door. (And a side note if your playing Pokemon Go there are many Poke-stops around! xP). I find afternoon tea is always a bit of a formal affair and this was no exception but somehow seemed a bit more relaxed than other Afternoon Tea places. The service was very good and the food was lovely. We got to choose a cocktail, all pimms cocktails which if you're from the UK is a staple summer drink. And of course it was a delicious cocktail!
I loved this place as they offered you more sandwiches and cakes, without asking and even more hot water to brew more tea if you wished. And the selection of teas they had was wide and varied. They had white, black, green and caffeine free tea. And if you chose, you could even have had a tea ceremony. Which I think is a nice little touch. They brew the tea to how you like it and you can always take the tea bag out if it becomes too strong.

And you can even take away what you did not eat in a tiny box that's easy to carry around. Which for me because I love cakes and dessert is awesome xD. There are many places to enjoy afternoon tea and this would be one (of many!) I would recommend. It is in a good location, quite reasonably priced and you can actually relax and enjoy eating. They do not rush you and all the staff are very helpful.
Till next time xx
