September Favourites

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. I know it's been kind of a while since I've posted...I have been soooooooo busy these few weeks which is making me sad because sleep, I'm missing you lol. So I thought I’d do a post on some of my favourite things I’ve been loving this past month or should I say Septemeber XD (a bit late I know!). And guys...a few of my favourites are going to be things you’ve heard about before because they are from Japan. So, I'm sorry! I am still having those Japan blues, like seriously I am driving people nuts with my talk of Tokyo…XD

The first thing I’ve been loving along with the oddly nice weather we’ve been having here in London are these mirrored sunglasses.

I happened upon these in a shop in Tokyo and when I saw them I knew that I wanted them. I’ve been on the hunt for mirrored sunglasses and these were an inexpensive option.

The next is a new purchase. I am really into my matte lipsticks because I just love how they look so when Urban Decay announced they were coming out with some and I saw the colours I wanted to go check them out. I ended up picking up Bad Blood and I’ve got to say I’m liking it.

I've only worn it a handful of times (and girls, HOW do you apply bold colour lipsticks straight from the bullet?! I cannot do this without looking like a clown...). It has a creamy formula (feels nice on the lips) and once applied leaves a satin matte finish. The colour is more of a blood red with less of the orange/pinky undertones that some reds have. And this for me is like a va va voom red. In the next few pictures I've got this on my lips so you can see what it looks like on. 

The next few items which I am loving now that it's getting a little cooler are from Massimo Dutti. This is a shop I have rarely ventured into (try never!) but on a whim I went in and found some very nice pieces. They have some really nice clothes and it is a little more on the expensive side, kind of like Zara in a way. I picked up a jumper and a shirt/blouse and it came in this nice box with a lovely letter saying thank you. 

The shirt is a weird one because even though it is a denim shirt it isn’t actually made of denim. Weird right?! It’s made out of Lyocell so has that soft kind of buttery/silky feel to it but when you touch it it does kind of have the texture of denim. It is really bizarre but I fell in the love with the colour of this because it is so different to anything I’ve seen. And again this can be worn casually over a t-shirt or camisole or tucked in with a nice pair of jeans for that oomph, kind of smart look. 

The jumper is plain grey and quite tight fitting but I like the little detailing of the studs on the shoulders. And the round neck because in winter I am not a fan of exposing any kind of skin because it is too damn cold and I get cold very quickly. Also when I saw this jumper to me it was more of a sophisticated kind of jumper. Sounds weird but by that I mean it does not make me look like I am 18 years old XD.

Next we have a Pokémon petit which is something random to have as a favourite but I cannot help it...He is so darn cute!! This is Lucario and he seems smaller than the other Petit’ Pokemon I have and of course, I love small cute things so this was always going to be a winner. I have him currently attached to my bag (sorry Latios, Latias!) and yes, cuteness all over! 

The last thing I’ve been loving is a food product. And it’s these cakes by Tokyo Banana. While I like the banana ones the strawberry ones are SO GOOD! XD. And again, you’ve probably read all about them but I am like obsessed with these and am so sad that they are almost finished!! I guess I’ll just have to do with Doriyaki (pancakes filled with various fillings like strawberry cheesecake!) which are almost as good. 

I have serious cake craving because of these and I wish I knew how they make the cake so light.

So I have yet to get in the Autumnal vibe but I am sure once we get properly into October and the weather starts to change those supposedly autumn staples such as dark lips and layers will start to come out. Although trying to find the perfect dark lip is proving challenging…Anyway what are some of the things you guys are loving? And what are your staples for autumn?
